It's Finally Here! From Nobody to Somebody
It's Here! From Nobody to Somebody

I’m excited to share a project that grew out of years of coaching, leading programs, and working with young people.
My new book, From Nobody to Somebody: How Belief, Culture, and Leadership Can Change Everything, along with its companion The Culture Transformation Workbook, was created to help coaches, educators, administrators, and leaders build something that goes far beyond wins and losses.
Although the story takes place inside a struggling high school football program, this isn’t really a football book. It’s a leadership and culture book.
At its core is a question I believe every coach, administrator and leader has to answer:
How do we help the people we lead believe in who they are and who they can become?
From Nobody to Somebody follows Coach Max Morgan as he takes over a program that has lost more than games. His players have lost belief, identity, accountability, connection, and hope. The turnaround begins not with a new offense or better athletes, but by intentionally rebuilding the people and the culture.
Throughout the book, I introduce practical principles for:
Building belief and identity
Establishing meaningful standards and accountability
Creating more positive interactions with athletes
Developing leaders instead of simply followers
Building genuine relationships while still holding people accountable
Responding to adversity through the Creed Reset
Creating a culture people want to be part of
Using the Creed System™ to turn belief into daily behaviors
The companion The Culture Transformation Workbook is designed to take the message from inspiration to implementation. It gives athletes, coaches, leaders, and teams an opportunity to reflect, establish standards, work through the Creed, and intentionally apply these principles.
More Than a Book
My goal isn't simply to get this book into people's hands.
I want to help change cultures.
I’m currently looking for opportunities to work with athletic departments, coaching staffs, teams, schools, leadership groups, and organizations through speaking engagements, staff development, team workshops, and culture-building presentations.
The book and workbook can also be used together as a resource for team leadership programs, coaching staff development, player leadership groups, offseason culture development, and school-wide leadership initiatives.
If you believe this message could benefit your coaches, athletes, or organization, I would love the opportunity to connect.
And if you know another coach, athletic director, principal, superintendent, or organizational leader who needs this message, I would be grateful if you would forward this email to them.
After years of coaching, one thing has become increasingly clear to me:
Talent matters. Strategy matters. Resources matter.
But none of them can replace a group of people who know who they are, believe in one another, hold each other accountable, and are committed to something bigger than themselves.
You are somebody.
